DSC 9621 Holly Tucker webHOLLY TUCKER (North America - ACA)

Holly A. Tucker represents the North American region on the Board of the WFC. She is a 2011 graduate of Logan University (Logan College of Chiropractic), Missouri, United States of America.

As a student, Holly served as President of the Logan University Chapter of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), and held a number of other leadership roles on campus. Attending state and national events, such as the ACA National Chiropractic Leadership Conference and House of Delegates meetings, she began to understand the role of chiropractic on a larger scale in the healthcare system.

Holly’s first experience with the WFC was when she attended the World Congress of Chiropractic Students held in association with WFC’s Biennial Congress in 2011, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The passion generated at this event led her down the path to completing an Internship Programme at the World Health Organization in Geneva Switzerland in 2011. She primarily worked on the ICD-11 project, while also engaging with the intern community as a sports coordinator. Upon her return to the US, Holly enrolled in a Master's of Public Health degree program at the University of Tennessee, studying community health education and healthcare administration. Concurrently, she started a chiropractic practice with her spouse, Jude Miller, also a chiropractor, and became a mother to two boys.

Holly is certified in Acupuncture, is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), holds a Health Policy Certificate, and was named the Tennessee Chiropractic Association's Rising Chiropractor of the Year in 2017. She became a community leader by advocating on topics such as nutrition, worksite wellness and prevention efforts surrounding the opioid epidemic - how chiropractic and acupuncture can play key roles in healthcare systems.

Within the public health profession, Holly has worked alongside rural healthcare providers and community members to impact the lives of the population. She also has experience at the state level - interning with the Health Planning office of the Tennessee Department of Health on health prevention efforts. Holly advocates to bring chiropractic to the forefront of healthcare settings as an integral component in improving health outcomes.

Holly relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina, after a decade of practice in Tennessee. She currently owns and operates Azalea Chiropractic & Acupuncture, as well as serving as the ACA Delegate for North Carolina.
