L. DAVID PEEACE (North America - Canada)

David Peeace DC, C.DIr is a Board appointee of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and represents the North American region.  

David received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology in 1993 from the University of Saskatchewan. In 1996 he graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, and has been in continuous clinical practice in both solo rural and multi-doctor urban settings.  He has currently been practicing in a multi-disciplinary clinic in Estevan, Saskatchewan since 2003.   

He has served the profession and his community with distinction. His most notable service includes:  Chair of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (2016-2018); Vice Chair, CCA, Chair of GMRC; Second Vice Chair and Chair of Audit and Finance Committee; Governor, CCA representing Saskatchewan (2008 – 2012);  Co-Chair Government Relations/Intra-Professional Relations Committee; Chair, Strategic Planning Committee; President, Chiropractors’ Association of Saskatchewan (2005 – 2007).   

David is the current chair of the Guideline steering committee of the Canadian Chiropractic Guideline Initiative.  He received the Dr. Bramham Award for Excellence in 2018 and is still involved on several committees in the Chiropractors’ Association of Saskatchewan.  In addition, he has served on several local community boards since moving to Estevan.  

David recently completed his Chartered Director program and has been awarded a C Dir. designation.  In addition, David is the recipient of several prestigious aboriginal achievements and has the noted distinction of being the first Indigenous Chiropractor to practice in Saskatchewan.  He has spoken at numerous Indigenous educational events and continues to be a mentor for indigenous youth.  

An avid traveler, he and his wife Lisa and two adult children enjoy travelling the world and immersing themselves in the cultures and flavor of all the countries they visit.  He has been on several humanitarian mission trips where he was able to provide chiropractic services to rural communities in developing nations.
