WFC Announces Appointment of Dr. John Maltby as Interim Secretary General

On behalf of the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) Board of Directors, we announce that Professor Brad Beira will be departing from his role as Secretary General. We extend our sincere gratitude to Professor Beira for his contributions and dedication to the WFC during his tenure, and wish him every success as he moves on to pursue other opportunities.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. John Maltby, WFC Past President and long term board member, has been appointed as Interim Secretary General, effective October 28, 2025.

Dr. Maltby brings a distinguished record of leadership and service within the chiropractic profession. In his interim role, he will guide the Federation’s global operations, oversee strategic initiatives, and work closely with the WFC Board of Directors to continue advancing the profession internationally.

The WFC Board expresses its appreciation to Dr. Maltby for his commitment and leadership during this period of transition. A formal recruitment process for a permanent Secretary General will begin shortly.
